(Worthy News) - Russia has brought an administrative case against a religious leader under the country’s controversial new package of anti-terrorist laws.

Sergei Zhuravlyov, a representative of the Ukrainian Reformed Orthodox Church of Christ the Savior, stands accused of spreading hate speech and maintaining ties to an illegal organization.

According to an Aug. 27 blog post by Zhuravlyov, he was arrested while preaching before the St. Petersburg Messianic Jewish community and accused of violating a provision of Russian anti-terrorist legislation that bans illegal missionary activity. [ Source ]

Very true.  We have already given up so much freedom and privacy in the name of "safety" from terrorist that it would not be a far stretch.

Totally disagree with that Shadow and so will most other people here.   Just on Supreme Court Judges is such a difference one would have to be not paying attention not to see those things.

Why are they so important. The judges. Do they over rule the president. Ours seem to do what he wants regardless.

only because we don't have enough votes in the senate to throw him out of office and he knows that.

So why are the judges so important. Do they over rule the president. So if the next president decides on something. Does the judges decide if ok or president.

Well right now he knows his time is short.  We should have done that the first term he was in office.  What just amazes me is that people gave him a second term just as they did Clinton.  I see people and a lot of these people are believers, put these kinds of people in office because they fall for their lies and don't do their homework.  Very sad especially from the Church.

Blessings, RustyAngeL
