Are you acquainted with AIM? They are a militant native group that is responsible for murdering govt officials. My hubby, born and raised on the navajo reservation, despises AIM for the way they have harmed native americans rather than helped them. Helping native americans, respecting them, does not come from groups like AIM. They are just thuggish like black lives matter.

What's this got to do with anything?   Are you saying the natives should just shut up, let big business build the pipeline through their land and just forget about any past promises or treaties made to them?

Am I allowed to post videos here?  Since the mainstream media doesn't care about aboriginal people they don't broadcast about it.  However, on the social media there are several videos available that I would like to share.

 4 hours ago.  :(

"BREAKING: Around 20 people have just been arrested at the site of the lockdown, including medics and two Unicorn Riot journalists. Police have shut down all road access to the site and are carrying assault rifles and less-lethal weapons "

I would like to post videos of the hired private security company who unleashed attack dogs and pepper spray and about a woman who was arrested for burning sage.  :(

Nobody has to shut up.  There are legal actions that should be relied upon, when I first read the local paper, I didn't realize this would go national.  The pipeline is not on tribal lands.  The first report I heard was the police responded to reports that pipeline workers were attacked, and when the police showed up, no workers were found, only protesters, and the cops backed away deeming the situation unsafe.  The dogs should have been controlled, but here again, the protesters were breaking the law by trespassing, sound familiar to other events around the country? Its the criminals who represent themselves as victims.  Nobody has to be hurt, it can be settled in court.

So really, the entire protest is meaningless. The natives are not being deprived with the pipeline. They are just being AIM.
