You should do it, it's a beautiful experience. (although every Mass is :)) I attend Midnite Mass every Christmas eve.

But works alone will not get you to heaven.

Please show an official document (like the Catechism of the Catholic Church) where the Catholic Church teaches this.

And again.... please explain James 2:14-26.

Peace

God knows whom He has regenerated...you don't. He brings us together around God's Word not man's traditions.

Being a follower of the Sola Scriptura doctrine, you should have no problem posting a Book Chapter and verse that states this.

I guess you are too young to have been around during the Jesus Movement.

She sure listened when some friends shared the Gospel that she finally heard for the first time.

Keep my day job? I'm retired...and have heard that old line many times.

It shouldn't cause an argument exactly :)

I'm not sure if it will ever eventuate. It's something that I'll take up with our Dad if the time arises.?

If any is the father of the Reformation it is the Apostle Paul.

Got anything to back it up?

I am convinced of doctrines that are from the Holy Scriptures if that is what you mean.

Can you show what these doctrines were, and how they were practiced before the 16th century?

Apparently such an approach has kept me from the false Roman Catholic teachings.

Examples?

We've been through that before. I guess it is your SOP.

Look, you continue believing as you do and I will continue  as I do. I am not out to see Roman Catholics converted, that is God's job.

And I am not trying to convert you to Catholicism. I am here to clear up the fallicies that Protestants/non-Catholics spread of Catholicism.

I didn't know or think we were at war. I thought we were just having a friendly little debate. Does this mean you are not yet willing to retract your statement back on page 10 when you said....

I have worked with many, many Catholics. There is only one person that I can say I respected the fruit that they displayed in their life

after I reminded you of all fruits of charity and love Catholics display in their lives throughout the globe?

The experience I have had in the past is that Catholics are very defensive about their religion and their beliefs. I post something and then they post back with a defensive reply. I do not want to go there. I have been in many "Catholic" debates on Worthy. I am burned out. Sorry
