Or...

may be you're not old enough really to compare, so for you guys, what excites you about todays technology and what the future may hold?

I grew up in the 60's.  It was a very simple, wonderful time.  I was saved in 1968 during the Jesus Movement.  Many were saved.  In my high school alone we had many, many students saved, plus teachers, coaches, during a revival we were having in my town.  I loved those days.

That's amazing - to have a revival at your HSchool! What great memories?

Yes.  Remember when you had to be at home to a corded phone to call your friends? If you went to town there was no way to get a hold of you.

I used to ask my mom and dad to have a really long cord attached to our phone. Then I could hang out in the closet or the hallways and talk to my girlfriends and boyfriends :D

Oh those times were very different. Some people say that there is no difference in then and today and our crime rate. I beg to differ

Do you remember the party lines? You would pick up the phone and hear everyone else on the line. I would yell out " Hey! what is your name? Where do you live?". Met a bunch of people that way :D

Party line? I've never heard of it - not sure if Australia had them or maybe it was before my time :b:

Plus...there wasn't always a landline phone in my house.

I used to love dialling up the numbers when I was a kid, as opposed to pressing them...sigh.
