(CNN)Two children and a teacher were shot by a gunman at an elementary school in Townville, South Carolina, a spokesman for Anderson County Emergency Management told reporters Wednesday afternoon. The suspected shooter, a teenager, is in custody, spokesman Taylor Jones said. The students were sent to a local trauma center, Jones said. One child was taken to Greenville Health System emergency trauma center by helicopter, spokeswoman Sandy Dees said.

Lord, we come before Your Throne of Grace. Abba, this is an emergency. We lift up to You the victims of this shooting, and we ask that You have mercy and grace on them. We also ask that You not allow the one who did this to escape justice. Please draw the little ones close to You, and comfort their parents. Please do not let them suffer for the actions of the deranged and wicked. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ.
