The danger here friends isn't was the US founded on Christian principles but does the original poster understand scripture at all and his complete assertion that he is using scripture to back up his claims. Without going into detail the original poster blasted me in a PM with very untrue remarks that I didn't even make. Without so much of answering my questions he asserted that his support was based on God's Word. Maybe I waste too much time here but I feel that it is so important that we all make sure that we are defending the Word of God and point out error when we find it. I guess it is the debater in me lol. Anyway I've had fun with this post and hope that my discussion with the original poster goes much further. If you look at the document that revealed the grievances against the British crown, it's fairly secular, but it references God on several points. Is that because the Judea-Christian ties or was it an attempt to place the founding fathers ideals above the crowns, by referencing God.? We really need to not use the light of Christ to search for something we would like to find? It's not our vindication that we gave up our worldly pursuits. It was because we saw that search was as fruitless and as irrelevant as we realized we were by pursuing it. What we respect, we bring closer to our hearts. What we disrespect, we push away.
