I never liked excuses(lies) ,the truth always worked just fine for both me & my employees...... "I just really want to .......& do not want to come in tomorrow" I found the lies are only because they didn't have the decency to be honest the day or so before,,,,,,,they already knew they wouldn't be coming in & with advance notice(even one day) I could have made other arrangements rather being stuck at the last moment!
