We stopped going to church where was mentored by my uncle which didnt believe n the bible and told me life was about sex money and knowledge. He got me in to drinking and smokng cigarettes and later was addiction to porn masterbation threw out my teen years from 15 till now i been watching porn everyday and smoking and did many sinful thing like had sex with diffrent girls and had a girl friend for many years having sex and had a baby out of wedlock. My life was getting destroyed from sin but recently starting seeng that these thng were not bringing happiness only jesus can. I am now trying to come back but my heart has really harden abd i have been a really evil person and practiced unrepentant sin. These preaching teach wHen you what i have done jesus shuts the door and gives you over to a Reprobate Mind which jesus rejects you even when you cry for reptants with tears. Im now mature enough to know understand what i have done but i think its too late and were livingbin the final hours.I cant sleep knowing im on my way to hell and my times running out.I want to repent but in the back of my mind i feel its too late.

Blessings JERE.....

Being given over to a reprobate mind is really a deliberate & willful decision made by the person,it is a choice & not done in ignorance,,,,,the fact that y ou stay awake at night in tears, worried about your eternity should show you that your heart has not waxed cold ....this is not the actions of an apostate,it is the heart of regret, remorse & seeking forgiveness,,,,,Jesus Forgives the worst of sinners,Holy Spirit convicts & softens the hardest of hearts,,,,before it is too late

If you were given over you would not be thinking of Him ever... especially coming back into obedience to Him!!!  The way back is clear repent turn around and begin to do the things pleasing to God according to His Word get with Godly  people in a Church setting (Bible study and Worship) and pray without ceasing to allow God put back what the locust have taken... It is never too late to come back to the Lord. Even the thief on the cross was saved when he asked. People can be saved with their last dying breath. They Holy Spirit makes you feel guilty, so it is GOD calling you to come back. Christ said that the will of the Father was that He not loose even one that HE had given Him. You are one that Christ was given by GOD to be saved, and you cannot be lost.

Those with a reprobate mind would not be coming on a Christian forum, broken and seeking truth, hoping for forgiveness, lying awake at night...you certainly are hearing God calling you to Him. He has not given up on you!

My pastor said just last week that "emotion usually follows motion." That is to say, it can be hard to let go of who we were; deep down we still have a sin nature that doesn't want to let go of our sin. You need to essentially build those habits into your life. Just like someone addicted to anything has a part of them that doesn't want to give it up, the part that does has to just stay strong and continue to force themselves to live without it, and eventually the cravings are lessened.

Ask God to save you, to teach you how to follow Him, to teach you how to live for Him, to give you the strength to resist sin, and to lessen over time the desire to sin as you live for Him. Find a good, Bible-teaching church in your area and get connected. Ask for help; that's what they're there for, if they really follow God's word.

God is calling you. He so wants you to follow Him, to know Him, to speak with Him and confide in Him. He wants that kind of deep relationship with you, despite all you have done. That is an encouraging thought indeed. God bless you on your journey to live for him!

Hi JERE,

Thank you for being so honest & sharing. Many people who received Jesus into their hearts when they were young don`t know how to go against the enemy that comes in like a flood. You received Jesus as Saviour but now you want to make Him LORD of your life. You see that you cannot run your own life without going into sin, thus I believe God is calling you to make Jesus LORD, the master, the guide by His Holy Spirit.

And the very first thing He has asked you to do you are doing -confess those sins, turning away & desiring to let Him guide you. Thus you need to develop a listening heart. Have times of thankfulness & rest in your mind so that through out the day the Holy Spirit will highlight things to you. This is a personal walk with the Lord as He knows you very well & what you need.

Look forward to this `adventure` with the Lord to get to know Him more.

regards, Marilyn.

Blessings JERE......Exactly my point, knowing about God is completely different than knowing Him,now it is time youget to know Him & have a Relationship with Him in Christ Jesus. The Word of God says that even the demons "believe"

Quote

King James Bible
Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
James 2 :19

As Marilyn has just said" You received Jesus as Savior but now you want to make Him LORD of your life. You see that you cannot run your own life without going into sin, thus I believe God is calling you to make Jesus LORD, the master, the guide by His Holy Spirit." So,you may ask,"How do I get to know Him & let Him LORD my life?" You have already taken the first step, you have a repentant heart & you realize you cannot do it your way.....now turn to His Word, ask Holy Spirit to lead, guide & direct you to living FOR HIM,WITH HIM.......Jesus made the WAY for us to come to the Throne of Grace into a one on one Relationship with our Heavenly Father....no more need for a high priest, you have been Reconciled back to your First Love,to the ONE Who first Loved you......you "believe"-GOOD START ,as the Scripture is Written ,,,,now FAITH comes by 'hearing"....hearing the Word of God   Jesus Will help you to renew your mind & finally be that New Creature in Him.....one that will produce good works as a result of your FAITH in Jesus & completely submitting to His Lordship,Holy Spirit Power gives birth to an Overcomer!!!!!

JERE, everyone here has said what you need to hear, but the distress came right through your message and I felt it so if I may add to what's been said?

When Jesus was on this earth, he took the time to really seek out the forgotten people, those whose life was awash with sin, those who despaired of living, and He did it deliberately, because He knew how much you need someone to listen when you're in that kind of condition. One of Jesus's close friends while He was here was Mary Magdalene, who was a prostitute but repented when she was found by Jesus. Our God is a God of love, and it is promised that if you personally go to Him with your sins and are truly repentant (and I don't mean just sorry, I mean with full understanding of the sin you have committed), then your sins will be forgiven. That means you do get a clean slate, for if the Lord forgives he doesn't hold it against you or remind you of it.

Everything you've said in your posts indicates that this is the way it is with you, so there's no reason to think you won't be forgiven. The next step, of course, is to determine what actions you're going to put into play which will help keep you from major sins again, and people have made good recommendations like listen to that inner voice which is God and develop a relationship with Him, and get to know your Bible and follow it's laws, and put them before mankind's greed and arrogance in your life.

One thing I would like to point out is that we're all sinners, because we're human, so we know there's a 100% probability of us sinning again, and so does God so try not to let that guilt you have eat up your life. God says we have to forgive ourselves our sins, before He can forgive us so maybe when you go to Him you should let those sins go. God also says that through Jesus, we can give our burdens to Him, including our sins, and He will carry them for us. Of course when I say this I don't mean you get a free pass or anything to sin again, just that it's pretty certain you will. So it's a process we end up repeating many many times in our lives as Christians, and it forms an integral part of our lives and our relationship with God. In my mind, God is God because you should feel comfortable to confess anything at all, because He loves you and sent His only son to die on a cross just so you can have that conversation with Him, and there isn't much more you can ask for someone to love you more than that.

I wish you the very best, and please do come back and let us know how things are going, and any more questions you have. God bless you.
