Hello, I'm new around here, but am rather familiar to the word of God. Not that I'd be able to quote from the Bible very much at all, but my family has had me through church at least half of my life span(23 years) Although having fallen from the path, I still refer to how the Lord would have me handle situations. Which brings me to my question, How should a child go about dealing with unsupportive parents? Respectfully of course. Thanks.

We are called to obey and respect our parents, without qualification. If you're an adult and out on your own, of course you have control over your own actions.

What are they unsupportive of, by the way? And more importantly, it sounds like you're not really following God. Do you consider yourself a born again believer? Do you live for God's will each day?

 Blessings RemovalofFire

Welcome to Worthy......glad you are here, good to meet you..........Praise Jesus!

So you say you've "fallen from the path".....may I ask what exactly that means & also how do you believe your parents are unsupportive? What is it that you are hoping to have support in?    It' is difficult to answer without a bit more information, imo                                          With love-in Christ,Kwik

You say that you have "fallen from the path". Does that mean that you are no longer a Christian?. What do your parents do that is not supportive? What is your living situation? Are you living with your parents? Living independently?
