They have some pretty smart computer nerds there--- wouldn't take to much effort to hack our power grid or nuke  power plants and severely mess up our ability to carry on life as we know it

not a bad Idea to stock up some food and other emergency supplies-- Imagine USA with no electricity for 4-6 months---- no supermarkets, no gas stations, no communications-- no water   no FACEBOOK ??????????

That is true.

One false move from Iran and we can turn them into a parking lot.   We can hurt them far worse than they can hurt us.

Tick...tick...tick.

And with the relationship get us into a nuclear war with Russia. Which I might add that their  civil population  is prepared for and we are not.

Given the fact that state-sponsored terrorism is a specialty of Iran (and has been for decades), chances are that Russia has no love for Iran either.  They both happen to be supporting Assad at the moment, but that does not mean that Russia will protect Iran either.

I have always seen the relationship between Russia and Iran about oil as the foundation.  Everything else was built from this foundation.  If someone else suddenly had cheaper oil, we would see a change in heart from Russia toward Iran.  Russia always struck me as a country would kept their friends close, but their enemies even closer.
