Do you guys know about this? It will block all unwanted calls. 1-888-382-1222 I have an unlisted number and I get a lot of junk calls. It will work after 30 days.

It's worked well on my phone since 2005, but my wife still gets lots of unsolicited calls and her phone has been registered since 2015

There is also a number you can call to report them.

A lot of times you do not have the number of the junk caller.

I am speaking of my cell phone it gives me the number of the caller. Now if I still used a land line ( house phone ) I would have caller ID on it. there is a "do not call" for land lines and for cell phones.

The percentage of calls with no number or restricted is low compared to calls with a number but yes we do see them occasionally.

Most calls send the number that is calling. If a company has a pbx ( private branch exchange )it has the ability to send no number or a number like 888-88808888 or 000-000-0000 but most companies  running legitimate business do not allow the sending of fake numbers.

I have found when I see no number or I see restricted or 000-000-0000 then I know it is some one I do not need to speak with so I do not answer and wait to see if a voice mail is left most times they will not leave a voice mail. must not have been important for them to reach me if they did not leave me a voice mail.

I am using the number on my land line since I rarely use my cell phone. But I do get some junk calls on my cell phone. But since I rarely turn on my cell phone I really do not notice them.

Huh? You give them your phone number to block it.

I think this is a good resource; I even get unwanted calls at work.  I just block unknown numbers on  my cell phone and hardly ever use my land line (which is actually an internet phone)  No way I'm going to waste my time with telemarketers.
