Guest shiloh357
Several years ago, when I worked in automotive remanufacturing, a gentleman I worked with who was a bi-vocational pastor asked me if I would help him, his son and daughter-law to help paint the inside of the house they were getting ready to sell. I agreed to help. The gentleman I worked with and I were in the living room and putting on a fresh coat of paint. There was a sliding glass door from that room that led to the backyard. Anyway, we heard his daughter-in-law tell their little girl who was about 5 or 6 that she was not to go outside because we were getting ready to go somewhere for lunch. A few minutes later the little girl came through the living room over to the sliding glass door. He asked her, "are you going outside?" She said, "Yes." He replied, "Didn't I hear your mother tell you not to go outside because we going to go out for lunch?" She said, "Yes." He replied, "Are you going to go outside?" She said, "Yes." He replied, "Do you think Jesus would want you disobey your mother like that?" She replied, "Are you Jesus?" He said, "Well no, but..." She retorted, "I didn't think you were!" And then she proceeded to go outside. Rebellion is sown up in the human heart. I think about that and laugh, 'cause it's funny today. Kids can really put on a show. They are a lot of fun.
