Its this type of rhetoric especially from those that proclaim to be saints that is dishonest, heartbreaking and down right shameful.  Please stop.

Not sure what this remark is about. Why are you accusing the saints?

No its something reported in the mainstream news accusing Trump of direct involvement in the alleged hacking.

Maybe its the same MI6 guy???

That was part of the story, supposedly one of the people on his team went to Prague and met with Russian intelligence people thought to be planning sessions about the hacking.

Proven to be false, but published by cnn and buzzfeed.

SMH..please don't feign ignorance as to the context of my comment.  It was plain. No questions involved this time, a plain statement.  This forum alone is full of the nonsense.

I see, so we are to be quiet when we witness the brethren being hypocrites.  Got you.  carry on.

Exactly who are you making accusations against here and specifically what are those accusations?

Blessings Ezra

I'm very glad you started this Topic & not just because of the allegations we see made in regards to political figures etc,,,,but also, all too often I hear the words that just sends chills up my spine, spoken by Christians "So & So is a FALSE TEACHER"....whew,thats a serious accusation to make & it is usually made because of "hearsay"

Is watching an "edited" for television sermon really hearing with your own ears? Is someone else's slander we read on the Internet enough to carry on a rumor.....It is gossip & unbefitting a Christian

Quote

1 Samuel 24:9 He said to Saul, “Why do you listen when men say, ‘David is bent on harming you’?

Proverbs 17:4 Whoever practices evil pays attention to wicked speech, and the liar listens to malicious talk.

1 Timothy 5:19 Do not entertain an accusation against an elder unless it is brought by two or three witnesses.

Proverbs 18:7-8 The mouths of fools are their ruin; they trap themselves with their lips. Rumors are dainty morsels that sink deep into one’s heart.

Proverbs 11:12 Whoever derides their neighbor has no sense, but the one who has understanding holds their tongue.

Romans 1:29 They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness. They are gossips,

Exodus 23:1 “You must not pass along false rumors. You must not cooperate with evil people by lying on the witness stand.

As with all things, proof is needed or the mouth should be kept silent.  For some preachers that have been labeled false teachers, all one has to do is pick up a book they wrote, listen to their broadcast on TV or attend their services to see if what they are teaching is false or not.  If a preacher is off on something that is not clear in scripture, then there is no way to hold their teaching, or our different belief, up to scripture.  Yet, when someone is radically off, and can be shown in scripture, then people should be warned about their false teaching, as long as they show why it is false.  Just throwing out the title is wrong ... they need proof/facts to back the claim up.

I heard the end of it on a BBC report.

No wonder Trump didn't want to give cnn a qn :)

Mind you the Beeb is almost as biased.

I suggest that  those under USA criminal law are very fortunate in that  the burden of proof is upon the accuser and only the law  of government, not private entities, can be the accuser. Yet in administrative law matters the  burden of evidence is still indeed upon the accused and not the accuser. The penalty  is enforced upon the accusation. Only evidence  brought forth by the accused may, if the accused is fortunate,  may change the ruling authority's sympathies. Civil law disputes of contract are another animal altogether.

Not guilty until proven to be so, is not a universal principle. It may only pertain to criminal law, as written up for the US colonists as they rebelled against England and it's King. Not all men are totally free, nor do all have inalienable civil and administrative rights, even in the USA. Try telling IRS to "prove it", or the Social Security Administration, or any  agency  enforcing Administrative law.

Civil matters are  also  decided  under a more French system of law where a officer of the court has vast discression, more so than  than English common law allows in matters of criminal law.

As to Biblical times, seems to me there is the example where  Paul used his declaration of Roman citizenry to  appeal the decisions and accusations against him, but he did not do so as a free man, but instead as a severely  punished accused awaiting opportunity afforded only a Roman citizen to make appeal to Caesar.

Citizenry in the USA does carry with it a high standard of individual freedom not afforded any of the populations on earth at any time. Least not any time since man's awareness of good and evil.  We are very blessed of God to have such a high responsibility. We need guard it jealously and with zeal at all times, or evil will quickly come over us all with it accuser.

-Just my thoughts on the principles being challenged within the news events of the day-.

We all must defend even the most unworthy seeming of the accused, forcing every accuser to  present evidence that is not just probable but absolutely without doubt.

Fortunately in the greatest of trials the saints in Christ Jesus have  a full pardon, and the accuser is already defeated, even as he still presents his case  against us.
