Hi Haz, That would be amazing if this is true ?(I hope so) - but I'm thinking how big is that embedded stone(it looks big) and that leads me to think a stone that big would need a huge slingshot. ? I wonder how old David was exactky - I know he was a youth - what age classifies a youth in Ancient Jewish times? 12 - 17? He was strong though, having fought off bear and lion while shepherding. I think it might be possible. he was a strong man, he picked up Goliath's sword and cut off his head with it. 1 Sam. 17: 51, Therefore David ran, and stood upon the Philistine, and took his sword, and drew it out of the sheath thereof, and slew him, and cut off his head therewith. David had killed a lion with his bare hands..... he was not some weenie teenager.... And btw a sling like the one David used with a three ounce stone has about the same knockdown power as a 45 cal hand gun at 25 to 30 yards, and people who are pro's at using them can consistently hit targets at 90 to 100 yards. David killing Goliath was not some miracle out of the blue, it was a godly young man, standing with his God, shaming the entire Israeli Army.
