Let's say this church organization is run by a public not for profit hospital.

It puts up a nice privately room to be alone with God.

It has a little Altar, some religious pictures, a chair, a kneeling bench, and a Bible.

Could the spider survive here?

You're sharp!

And you're tough on spiders.

What if I kept the same story but changed it from spiders to catepillars?

I was just thinking, aren't we all predatory by nature?

Yes, I think we are all predatory by nature, so I'm sticking with the spider.

Get rid of that catapiller before I eat 'em.

Rabbit,

You're going to really have to tell us about this spider.

You mentioned a chapel in a hospital.  Why wouldn't the spider be welcomed there?

§The YMCA.

What about the Boy, Girl Scouts?  Would he be welcomed there?

Is a spider someone who is around just to observe?  Is he different from everyone else?  Is he there for a different reason?

Come on. Give us a clue!

Fran

Really?!?!  A spider will always be a spider.  A caterpillar is what it is for a season, then goes into a rebirth, coming out as a butterfly.  I like caterpillars for they can represent the new birth in us.

If you all look back at the OP, you'll see the first sentence says, "once upon a time there was a church organization".

That is the topic of "what's right and what's wrong".

The spider is not the topic.

The spider is a character within a story.

But the story is about the church organization.

*Once upon a time* pertains to fairy tales. So was this spider spinning a yarn instead of his webÉ (not sure why the question mark turned into something else. Perhaps the spider influence).

Assume all things are literal.

If a literal meaning is not seen, look for the figurative or symbolic instead.
