I just stick with the Holy Bible. I do not need anything else. That is sufficient.

James and Peter quote the book of Enoch. The word of God mentions 7 other books that didn't make the cut. Broad generalizations are never good.

Agreed, and many would ban everything ,but their version of the bible . However, it is evident that the book 'Adam and Eve ', is a literary endeavour ,and not a book for the bible .

This is good. It is making obvious those here who go beyond Scripture.

  This is so true.

you should differentiate the difference between 1-2-and 3 Enoch.

1 Enoch was written at least a hundred years before James and Peter were born.

That sounds like an episode from the Dr. Phil Show.

There are fundamentally foundational reasons why non-canonical books are NON-canonical.  Without exception - when you read them and compare them to the Bible.  It isn't that difficult to see why.

Without exception.

After reading through everything you listed,  Jayne, I can only shake my head and ask ' who on earth would believe this nonsense'?  Then I realize....it's those who have not read the Bible.  I agree with you; extrabiblical teachings are dangerous and, IMO, come straight from satan himself.

I think that there are some materials out there that are good for extra-biblical readings.

I'm not talking about the books that have been vetted by our church "fathers" such as

"lost gospels and such. Rather, books that shine a light on church history and teachings

from some of the "titans of our faith". The Didache, comes to mind for example.

To the degree we as Christians start mixing other writings in with our Scriptures (66Books), to that degree we  lose our distinctive identity as Christian and our faith will be diluted and misguided.

Cults, RCC , Gnostics etc., do not like Sola Scriptura . Scripture is to be the basis to judge all other truth claims.

I agree. Perhaps it is dangerous stuff. I am sure Satan loves it though. Takes a Christian's perspective off of the true Word of God.

I agree.  I'm not talking about classics such as Paradise Lost or The Abolition of Man.  I'm only referring to "books" that some claim add more information from God to the Bible.
