However, it is evident that the book 'Adam and Eve ', is a literary endeavour ,and not a book for the bible . Broad generalizations are never good. you should differentiate the difference between 1-2-and 3 Enoch. 1 Enoch was written at least a hundred years before James and Peter were born. I'm not talking about the books that have been vetted by our church "fathers" such as "lost gospels and such. Rather, books that shine a light on church history and teachings from some of the "titans of our faith". The Didache, comes to mind for example. I'm not talking about classics such as Paradise Lost or The Abolition of Man. I'm only referring to "books" that some claim add more information from God to the Bible.
