(Worthy News) - The White House on Wednesday afternoon released a list of 24 terror suspects who previously entered the U.S. from the seven countries named in President Trump's Jan. 27 executive order.

The document lists 24 refugees and other immigrants from Somalia, Sudan, Iraq, Iran, Yemen, Syria and Libya who entered the U.S. in the last eight years and were later arrested by U.S. law enforcement officials on terrorism charges after being admitted.

The seven countries are Muslim-majority nations. Critics have alleged the Trump administration targeted those countries in a move of religious discrimination. The White House's release of the list was meant to push back against those attacks as proof the 90-day suspension of immigration is warranted due to national security concerns. [ Source ]

So, 3 arrest a year on average from those countries.  I wonder if the White House would be so kind as to release a list of everyone else in the last 8 years that have been arrested by U.S. law enforcement officials on terrorism charges.

what I find irritating is that the attorneys speaking for the administration didn't seem to know this....   and it should be a basic first thing to check.....    we must remember that most of the people in the justice department have been there under Obama.

However it is irrevelent, because the President has the authority to do what he did anyway.

My trust is a low with those people serving in all the departments that have been there a long time.

The problem is that the attorneys that were actually prepared to argue for the Administration had to recuse themselves.  The #3 guy was assigned to the job pretty much at the last minute and didn't have the time he needed to prepare.

But you are right, it really doesn't matter because the travel ban is legal and necessary.

actually that is what the original Judge said.  He was the one who started the no one from those countries.....   and the lawyer representing the administration was not prepared to do his job.
