I don't think that emergency funds from the government should be tied to any request that doesn't have anything to do with the situation that prompted the request in the first place.

I wasn't talking about emergency funds.

I'm opposed to bribing any state to do what is right as far as the protection of American citizens go. We should treat California as we do Texas, but that doesn't mean the government can't designate what the money is to be used for and to refuse to facilitate any state to act contrary to those stipulations given upon that money. This will place the responsibility of it's use and blame for it's misuse squarely on the state itself.

I do think that moneys needed for to combat crimes should not be given for those states that refuse to enforce any federal laws and let the chips fall where they may on the issue of President Trumps policies towards Illegal Aliens.  These people are adults and if they make their minds as adults to defy the government then they need to live with the consequences of their actions, as adults.

This childish behavior that borders on infantile of belligerence and defiance of Federal authority, when not connected to any hereditary civil or religious right  has got to end and end well, because if it continues the people who've provoked these recent spats will find very soon that they are not going to be able to control what they have unleashed. Like the French Revolution those that started madame Guillotine eventually ended up there.

I do believe we are talking about completely separate issues.

I was speaking of the past.
