When the state that provides more money to the Fed Govt than any other state ask for some of it back they are mocked. Cali 12% of Fed revenue, it provides 45% more than the next closest and more than the bottom 25 states combined. Cali is one of a handful of states that gets back less than $1 for every dollar given to the Fed Govt. Yet, when they ask for some of it back they are begging for help. That was just fine wasn't it? Of course they should be mocked, and mocked with derision. They attack Trump at every turn, insult him to no end, and then when the chips are down, suddenly, they have to come to the president they hate and have to ask for his help. It's pretty laughable how short-sighted they were. They hate on the president and suddenly finding themselves needing his help after they trash him. It's pretty comical. They made him their enemy and now they need him as a friend and president. It's all part of that Trump Derangement Syndrome. If it were me, I would just let them bleed a little. They do not need President Trump's help, they need the Federal government's help. When the people of Cali pay taxes they pay them to the Fed Govt, not to Trump. It is not Trump's money. They do not need him as a "friend" they need him to be a professional and an adult and make decision based upon the facts of the situation and not based on what someone might have said mean about him. He is the head of the federal government. California should stop trying to promote the ridiculous idea of "the Republic of California" and they will receive the help they are asking for.
