While there is no real comparison between the NYTimes and Infowars this story from the Times has too many holes and should have been left till they could be filled in.  The fact that 3 people have had to leave the Trump team due to ties and dealings with Russia is significant on its own accord and does not need innuendo from "unnamed sources".

Flynn left because he lied, not because of any connection with Russia.

And I have some very nice ocean side property for sale, very cheap.  The property can be found in Lebanon, Kansas.  Let me know if you are interested.

If true then it needs a hard look and appropriate action taken.  I will not comment further as there are to many who act in an unchristian way and try to silence any opposition to what they want to believe

He didn't commit a crime and he has no material connection to Russia.  I realize the truth is inconvenient, but that is the truth.   The reason he resigned was not because of the phone call, but because he lost the trust of the president over his lie.   That's the only correct way to look at it.

Nothing needs to be done.  He has resigned.  No crime was committed.

That is the only correct way to look at it for the "Trump said it so it has to be true" crowd, that much I agree with.

But they knew about this, and about Flynn's lie almost 3 weeks ago (they were told on Jan 26th) but choose to do nothing about it, till the story was leaked.   Then all of a sudden Flynn is gone.  If it was the lie that was the problem then way back on Jan 26th when the White House was informed of the nature of the calls Flynn should have been gone.

That is not true.  They were looking at how to deal with it, and were trying to figure out how to  deal with.   Yes, leaking the story accelerated the process, but that is not when the process started.  It is not uncommon for administrations to deal with problems internally and deliberating a course of action before going public.  The assertion that this was being swept under the rug and ignored is simply not true.

The excuses are deplorable. Matter a fact sickening.

So, what you are saying is that it took them 3 weeks to figure out that lying to the VP was a bad thing?
