But our Temple in heaven is not Jerusalem but The Lord God Almighty and The Lamb is Jerusalem's Temple for us. - Rev.21:22

Just because there is a Temple in Heaven does not mean that there will be no third temple on earth when the Antichrist takes control.  Furthermore, there will come a day when the Temple in Heaven is not required, as shown in Rev 21:22.  However, there will be a FOURTH TEMPLE on earth as seen in the book of Ezekiel, since Israel will also be restored and established on earth.

True

The only thing I would say is this .... I believe that the edifice on the mount is there now, the Dome of the Rock

The anti-christ will sit in this claiming that He is God, and that Islam is His cult religion [Revelation 11:2]

Paul says that he will sit in the temple of his god showing that he is representing the Lord [2 Thessalonians 2:3-8]

The temple of Islam and not of the Lord's

His temple will be built just after the battle of Armageddon [Zechariah 14:2-11]

And after the millennium another centered place will be in the new heavens and earth [Revelation 21]

- Because John wrote about the Temple Being In Heaven 12 times in The Revelation of Jesus Christ is fact enough that was the Temple he was told to Rise And Measure after he was sent down to the earth. As there was no Temple on earth at the time for John to be sent to on earth to measure.

- Ezekiel 's  Temple was not on earth when the angel measured it either. Which included the court for the people.

- Ezekiel's Temple measurements were given for Israel to 'measure the pattern'.

*And further more in The 6th Seal John saw  that The Great Multitude would've been in heaven for John to measure Rev.7 they'd have washed their robes white in The Lamb's blood to stand before God's Throne in heaven with The Lamb w/angels & 4 creatures is who John was measuring in The Temple by Rev.11:1. As it was them who were Worshiping God day and night in His Temple at the time when John was told to Rise And Measure The Temple and The Altar And Those Who Worship There. - Rev.7:14  For The Great Multitude Serve & Worship God too. - Rev.19:7

- So there's too much information of scriptures to believe rather than interpretations of another Temple being built on earth before Jesus' return. Which is not scriptural.

You want to believe that God Himself  would establish another Temple Of His which does not serve the purpose of His Son's death for God Himself to be in only to let some defiled person have it (?) This interpretation makes God sound very confused. Jesus does not come back to defend any Temple on earth for The Jews.

- There will be The Throne of His father David for Him to sit on "In The Regeneration" of The 1,000 yr reign when He sits on His Throne along with The 12 Apostles when they sit on their 12 Thrones as Judges of The 12 Tribes Of Israel (144,000). - Rev.19:28 - Rev.4:20 As John said he saw Thrones and they that sit on them and Judgment was Committed to them.

Jesus will then Be "The King Of kings and Lord of lords"

Jesus will have for His Davidic Kingdom The 144,000 Of All The Tribes Of The Children Of Israel.

Jesus will have The 12 Apostles as their Judges.

Jesus will have The 24 Elders as 'a kingdom of Priests' who say they will Reign on the Earth. - Rev.5:10

As it was King David and The Priests Zadok who established The 24 Divisions of 24 Elder of The Tribes Of Israel. - 1Chron.24

The 24 Elders having 24 Crowns cast to The Throne which Jesus brings with Him Rev.4:10 - Rev.19:20

In The Regeneration there'll be "The Camp Of The Saints The Beloved City". No Temple mentioned. - Rev.20:9

Is.9:6,7 "...Of The Increase Of His Government...upon The Throne Of David And His Kingdom to Order it and establish it with judgment & justice..."

- David's Throne Was Never In A Temple.  -

~ No Temple Needed For The Fulfilling Of Prophecy:

There is no mention of the word Temple in Daniel. - 9:16-19  and  Matt.24:15

It's only 'church leaders' who've interpreted the word Temple to be synonymous with the words  'sanctuary' and 'holy place'.

When Daniel's supplication was for "God's Holy Mountain" "God's Sanctuary". - Dan.9:16-19

"The Mountain Of Your (God's) Inheritance" "The Place You Made For Your Dwelling" 'The Sanctuary Lord Which Your Hands Have Established" - Ex.15:17

Remember God even dwelt on Mountain Sini without any building made by man of a Temple for His Sanctuary. - 1Chron.28:10

The word 'Sanctuary' is not synonymous for the word Temple.

- And the word 'Sacrifice' or Qorban in Mosaic Law is the literal meaning of: "That which is brought near to God".

As there is still yet much given and devoted to God daily in Jerusalem 'God's Sanctuary' 'God's Holy Mountain' 'Holy Place.

Sacrifices and Offerings was and are made to God without a Temple as a Sanctuary, holy place.

Still to this day without a Temple, Sacrifices & Offers are encouraged to be made to God by The Temple Mount Leaders! It was on Israeli News.

We must keep in mind the word Temple is not mentioned in Daniel nor Mathew and that the words Sanctuary and holy place are only interpreted as a 3rd Temple.

- Time Is Shorter Than You Think.  As there is no Temple needed to fulfill Prophecy. -

Something worth keeping in mind as we observe.

From my blog post on this topic:

The Temple-Sanctuary and Court of Revelation 11

Revelation 11:1 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod. And the angel stood, saying, “Rise, and measure the naos [lit. sanctuary] of God, and the altar, and those who worship in it. 2 But the court which is outside of the naos cast out and measure it not, for it is given unto the Gentiles; and the holy city they shall tread under foot forty-two months.

The Greek term naos does not mean a whole temple complex, for which the Greek word hieron is used. Naos refers only to a temple’s innermost holy place, its sanctuary. The word hieron is never used in Revelation. A naos is mentioned 16 times:
– 10 of them directly speak of it being “in heaven,” or are linked to a near verse that does: 11:19 (twice); 14:15, 17; 15:5, 6, 8 (twice); 16:1; 16:17 ;
– 2 of them refer to it being the Holy One Himself: 21:22 (twice);
– 2 more of them, 3:12 and 7:15, also are clearly heavenly, but you can check them out for yourself to decide.

NOT A SINGLE VERSE in Revelation speaks of a “Temple/naos on earth,” or “in Jerusalem,” or “in the holy city.” Therefore, there is no good reason to presume an earthly exception for the other two uses of naos in Rev. 11:1-2; especially since later in the chapter, verse 19 says “the naos in heaven.”

The blog article goes on from here, explaining the meaning of the "court outside," but this much answers the key point about the naos of Rev. 11.

Revelation never mentions an earthly temple or sanctuary at all. Neither does Daniel mention an earthly temple in the End Times. The sanctuary wherein blood sacrifices were prophesied to be brought to an end (Dan. 9:27) was in the Jerusalem Temple of old, which was destroyed in 70 AD.
