A group of workers from Belgium have joined an increasing number of people with microchips inserted in their hand.

Employees at Newfusion, a Belgian digital marketing firm, have had microchips inserted under their skin which allow them to open and close doors and access the company's computers.

The microchips replace the badges which the workers used to wear, and also contain personal data about the user.

The chips cost 100 euros each and are the size of a grain of rice. They were inserted between the thumb and index finger of their hands.

The Uber bars in Germany chip their customers and give them freebies the more they spend.

Companies will gravitate to chips in employees, for protection, for exact time keeping and mini micromanaging... Can you say.  Five mins in the bathroom? Too much time! People will be treated like robots.. Speaking of.. Mark Cuban of the shark tank says robots will replace workers and society needs to prepare for that. ...

Sigh..... Jesus come soon!

Here's a great example of how to lay the ground work for something. The chips will be presented as something to make life easier, more secure, etc. and with all the companies getting hacked and spilling customer data all over, it'll probably be pretty popular. This is partly from what I gather from our clients at work. Many are quite concerned about computer security and welcome the fingerprint reader on the newer iOS devices. One step at a time . . .

The chess pieces are certainly being moved into place.

My vet several years ago before my last cat died that the chips are causing cancer in a lot of animals and he stopped chipping them and went to tattoos.    Anyone can see a tattoo and it takes special readers to even know if a chip is there.

I don't think I want chipped at all.   However I can see some things happening that might some day require it to be in some relationships with some companies.   Problem with the chips is that I can go to Radio Shack and spend a bit less than $100 and make machines to clone or change the chip identifications so they are not very high security.   It would not be all that difficult to put the thing inside a glove and shake hands with you and instantly steal your identity.
