Even though I'm a big supporter of the crack down on illegals, this is going WAY too far!  This woman was put into a wheelchair, handcuffed, ankle cuffed and taken to a detention facility.  NO, NO, NO!  This is SO wrong; I am contacting my Senators today and, if any of you share my outrage, I urge you to do the same.  I don't care what her status is, common sense and human decency have to enter into the picture somewhere.

I concur, waiting for surgery IN the hospital is far different than waiting month for surgery.. Come on, common sense, get the criminal first.

I think I would want a lot more information about this.  I'm really hoping there is more to it.

Exactly!  Our country is better than this.  I'm very angry.

Even if she has a warrant for her arrest, she is facing brain surgery.  Removing her from the hospital could kill her.  I dont want my government doing things like this.  They need to be rounding up those that pose a danger to society, not patients awaiting surgery.

So wouldn't I.  The article is from the Los Angeles Times, an extremely left wing paper.

According to what I am reading ICE claims that the woman had already been in federal custody for a year prior to the discovery of the tumor and she was removed from the hospital after doctors deemed her condition stable. Her family and lawyers are claiming that she was about to undergo emergency surgery. I don't know, we will probably find out soon enough how legitimate this is. If she is truly waiting to undergo emergency surgery this weekend, that is time enough for her lawyer to get her surgeon before a judge.

Could we pleas stop jumping to conclusions and allowing the left wing media to throw everybody into convulsions of emotionalism. This story places emphisis on this women being handcuffed in a wheelchair which leaving the hospital in a wheelchair is I think standard operating procedure for someone who has been a patient there. these people don't say a thing when people who have been brought into the hospital from prison and leave the same way as she did. Being in a wheelchair is for insurance reasons and not always because she couldn't walk out on her own.

If they can sensationalize that, then they can sensationalize more and make this look as bad as they would make anything subscribed to President Obama look good.

Let's not forget the reporting agencies we are dealing with here.
