Jesus said to .. not backstab, backbite and talk badly to eachother to not talk harshly or cruel to parents, love them to not live with have sex with someone not your spouse to evangelize to have a prayerlife to tithe properly to worship to give to others in need, and homeless etc and not be content just caring for ours to live holy lives there might been more Ive forgot but the vid is there. His teaching was what some today refer to as a holiness doctrine. Those sound like rewording of the ten commandments and Jesus new testament ministry wherein he summed those applicable laws to this day up with, love your neighbor as your self. People who don't fallow the teachings of Christ don't love him and certainly don't think he died on the cross for their sins, because they would honor him if they did. The way to honor anyone is to appreciate them in such a way as to adopt his teaching into their lives. Without that they can only lip sinc him in an attempt to look good to others. This is both lying to the Holy Spirit and lying to fellow Christian's. The reason we study the Bible is to be assured that we aren't lying to ourselves by taking the word of others that we are indeed acting like Christians, from God's own perspective. Some have read the book of REVELATION (last book in the BIBLE). What looks one way on earth, today, is not at all what it looks like.
