Those would be the nominal Christians, the tares, that we're speaking of. I.E. The actual non-Christians. Jesus would know that Christians won't see Hell. The one's he would be speaking of would be those who called themselves his but that he never knew. Using the term Christian to me sounds like a warning for those who are nominal.
