The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9

Amen~!

Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me: Lest I be full, and deny thee, and say, Who is the LORD? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God in vain. Proverbs 30:8-9

I have had struggles with this scripture up to now.

It begins with, the Lord is not slow to keep his promise.

Who are the people he is addressing, what is the reason to address them in this manner, and what is the promise.

What is that the Lord has promise.

I am very sceptical about that.

Thank you for posting.

I love this passage. It shows God's heart and desire. Many people are wanting God to come back and judge this wicked world, but God is wanting none to parish, but all come to know Him.

It is good that he is slow to wrath, and so merciful.

My I deprived from something?

" to wrath", what is he doing when he is in "wrath".

What do you think he is going to do , and to whom, and why?

That's what I been asking my self and I can not get it.

If you please.
