Shoveled twice, used the snow blower once, my son rolled in the snow with our dog, help a neighbor out of a snowbank, snow plows everywhere, people spinning trying to make the hill. An intense low pressure system will approach the Maritimes from New England tonight and track over Maine on Wednesday. Heavy snow and blowing snow will develop over Prince Edward Island this evening and change over to rain overnight. A brief period of freezing rain is expected during the changeover. Strong southeasterly winds are expected to develop late this evening with gusts reaching up to 90 km/h. Snowfall amounts of 15 centimetres are expected. Weather conditions should improve by dawn Wednesday. ### Visibility will be suddenly reduced to near zero at times in heavy snow and blowing snow.
