Dancing can be found in scripture, so to say it is wrong goes against scripture. I can see how some dancing can be seen as wrong, but not dancing in general. The scholars would have to see if the interpretation and translation is appropriate. I know some pentecostal church may include a dance item in its church program for that day as a worship item. Baptist on the other hand forbid it totally in the church. Outside the church, dance without the vulgarity , can be merry to the heart. I am not a dancer as such, but like to shake my legs to a decent tune, why not. 2 Samuel 6King James Version (KJV) 14 And David danced before the Lord with all his might; and David was girded with a linen ephod. 15 So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the Lordwith shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet. 16 And as the ark of the Lord came into the city of David, Michal Saul's daughter looked through a window, and saw king David leaping and dancing before the Lord; and she despised him in her heart. Also the dance halls where adults went to dance were kind of wild and served alcohol which kind of lowers ones inhibitions to do things that we would not normally do.
