But you have to agree, on pure logical grounds, that Satan existence is a no issue, if pre-destination is true. If he exists or not, if does things or not, that is totally irrelevant towards the final result.

A much more important question is-- what Jesus has done for mankind and why some choose him and some dont-- where do you stand on that??-- Satan is really a non-issue

Apparently. I really don't know what can I do, if pre-destination is true. But it could be that I am pre-destined to Heaven. In that case, I will convert before I die. Will see. That is beyond my control. Like someone would say: 1) if you can change things, don't worry 2) If you cannot, don't worry, either So, I do not worry. It would be irrational to do that, under the premise of pre-determination. And if Satan is really a non-issue, what sense does it make to call something a "satanic scheme"? I am a strong atheist. Compared to me, an agnostic is a pious man. And I ask questions to different believers: Christians, Jews, Muslims, Hindus, etc. That does not obviously entail that I tend towards any of those creeds. I am actually quite ecumenic about my disbelief. Liberals also debate Conservatives, and vice-versa, and that does not logically entail anything towards them being attracted by the position of their opponent. So, Yes. I could choose Jesus. But if pre-destination is true, and I am pre-destined to Heaven, I am sure I will. Now, I have no intention to do that since, at present, I have zero faith about any supernatural claim. And if my final destiny is fixed since the beginning of time, then there is nothing really I can do to change that. If you are right, I will go to Hell. If you are not, we will both go to the same place we were before being born (assuming there is not another God acting differently from your God). The good news for you is: I will never be able to prove you wrong about the existence of God.   siegi   Edited May 23, 2017 by siegi91
