Undoing Obama's 'Energy Regulations

Moving forward with a campaign pledge to unravel former President Obama's sweeping plan to curb global warming, President Trump on Tuesday is set to sign an executive order that will suspend, rescind or flag for review more than a half-dozen measures in an effort to boost domestic energy production in the form of fossil fuels.

EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt told “Fox & Friends” that the president will “set a new course” that is both “pro-jobs” and “pro-environment.”

“It’s going to create jobs in the oil and gas sector,” he said. “For too long, over the last several years, you’ve had certain industries, certain sectors of our economy that were within the crosshairs of the EPA.”

He added, “That is not going to happen anymore.”

We talk about looking out for the welfare of our children, that involves the climate and how resources are used.  That involves protecting the environment especially from those that only care about bottom lines and seek to destroy it for a buck.  But I know that's difficult for folks to grasp.

I dunno Ruck. I grew up with the beginnings of Earth day, walk for mankind and other non sense.

Remember the floating garbage debacle of the east coast? Some one disproved that we have a garbage problem by saying all 50 states could put their yearly garbage in a place smaller than Iowa. And that's not counting all the recycling that people do.

I think the USA leads in taking care of the environment compared to China, Russia etc.

Remember the devastation if the rain guests in South America? I did research and it's interesting to note that within a few years, five or less, the jungles were growing back in. How? By bats. They don't process seeds so tons of banana trees are re grown. It's kinda nice to see the photos of nee jungle trees growing and filling in a devestated area.

I'd like to see jail chain gangs back on the highways cleaning up the litter.

Ok, that's my two cents for today ?

Funny thing.... scientists have yet to prove were having any noticeable affect on the climate...

And I get taking care of our planet but here's the thing. American coal fired plants are the cleanest burning plants in the world, in fact they're just as clean as windmills or hydroelectric plants. That "smoke" you see coming from the stacks is over 99% steam. That's right, STEAM. Doesn't hurt the environment at all. Most of the regs trump rolled back had nothing to di with climate change they were just over restrictive rules put on place to harm the coal industry and our economy.

Yeah, how do you know that the concepts are too difficult to grasp?  And who is not able to grasp them?

Well looks like the POTUS doesn't grasp them that's one, it seems that those that only look at money doesn't grasp them that's 2.  Do you find what I said insulting?
