I loved it. Hearing the Aramaic language was a special treat. I had prepared myself and brought a box of Kleenex along. Good thing too because I ended up handing them out to women in my row who didn't think ahead. Great movie.

I could not watch the movie. Just the previews made me cry. It was like watching someone I loved being tortured.

It was very emotional. Jim Caveiezal transformed in the character part he played as Jesus . When he saved the Magdalene from stoning the man behind the beard that was that actor was not the face he's known for. An amazing film that I believe God had his hand on because of such things as that.

It apparently  made people  confess to murders. Ironically, tho i read a review by  persob who said it shouldnt be watched because it promoted anti-Semitism. Amazing how different people peeceivrvthi things differently

It was emotional and good yet flawed because of its Roman Catholic basis and ties with Mel Gibson.

Christ wrists were nailed, not His palms....

Mary's role was overemphasized beyond what they Bible describes because of Gibson's RCC roots.

I thought they did a really good job. There were some evidence of catholic influence, like mentioned, Marys role over-emphasized, and the whole "devil" thing was weird.  But, they dont really detract from the movie at all.

You took away from the movie what you brought into it.  Most non Catholic people had no idea of the Catholic influence and did not take it with them when it was over....

It had a huge effect on me to the point that I can't watch it again even after purchasing the movie.

I had no idea at the time that the Satan was played by a woman.
