Shalom, FresnoJoe.

LOL! Well done! That's what I like about you; you quote one verse and say so much! True, the Lord God Almighty (YHWH Elohiym El Gibowr) and the Lamb (haKeves) ARE its Temple. I stand corrected!

However, I still see the description of the city in Revelation as a LITERAL, SOLID, CONCRETE city. With all the materials, dimensions, directions, and details, this can't help but be a literal description of this city! I would STRONGLY object to this being some elaborate allegorical interpretation of the book of Revelation. While Revelation does have some symbology, there are MANY parts that are to be taken literally. Many of the passages in Revelation are QUOTATIONS from the prophecies of the Tanakh (the OT), and prophecies, like those of the Messiah Yeshua` during His first advent, were fulfilled LITERALLY and ONLY ONCE.

For instance, anyone can gloss over the fact that the length, width, and height of the city are each "12,000 furlongs," but not very many have extrapolated what that size means or what that SIZE of a city would mean!

Shalom, Daniel 11:36.

Why?! Have you not been reading the Scriptures? Who comprises the "church?" Is there a difference between Jew and Gentile within Christ? If the "church" is comprised of Jews as well as Gentiles, then why would THEY be excluded from the Kingdom here on this earth for the 1000 years?

They would NOT be excluded, and if the body is to be complete, then neither will WE who are Gentiles!

The ONLY satisfying conclusion is that we ALL shall be on the earth during the 1000 years, participating in the Kingdom of God through His Christ - His Messiah - His Representative to this earth as its King of kings!

The New Jerusalem, that which is the description of this place everybody calls "heaven," does not come into play until AFTER the Millennium and AFTER the GWTJ which is AFTER the Fire!

Amen

There is no difference at all

But there is a difference between Israel and the nations during the tribulation period

Shalom, Daniel 11:36.

Yes, outside of the Messiah, there IS a difference between Israel and the nations. However, that tells us that there are THREE (3) groups of people:

(1) Those within the Messiah (where Jew and Gentile are treated the same),
(2) those outside the Messiah who are children of Israel, and
(3) those outside the Messiah who are from the other nations (the Goyim or Gentiles).

The first two groups are those who will comprise the "Kingdom of God" ruled by His Representative, the "Son of God," Yeshua` the Messiah ("Jesus the Christ") who will begin by being the King of Y'hudah (Judah), will become the King of Israel, comprised by all the tribes (clans) of "Israel" who was originally named "Ya`aqov" ("Jacob"). Then, as other nations become part of His Kingdom, He will become King of kings, which means a world "Emperor," literally, a King to other kings, as were Artaxerxes (Ezra 7:12), "Nebuchadrezzar" (Ezekiel 26:7), and Nebuchadnezzar (Daniel 2:37).
