God was truly wise when he inspred Peter Peter say that act prophesy is of any private intepretation. God's word means what it mean and it's not of perspective.  But that doesn't mean people.  Christian or other wise  don't attempt to  give their own interpretation.  Some are downright  bizarre. What are some you've heard.

1 Noone can ddfinately say adams motive for eatibg the fruit but I've heard a man first teach in Sunday school and then preach  that Adam wasn't deceived  but  he knowingly  ate the fruit because he loved Eve and didnt want to be without her. And capped it off with - the bible says so.... as if it was actually stated in scripture.

2 a man posted in YouTube that women should never  get a csection or epidural in Labour because got punished women with pain in childbearing and by using them, they are denying God his righteous vengeance on woman kind.

The worst (most dangerous) I've ever heard,  and heard frequently,

is that heaven is (or will be ) full of unrepentant sinners.

This is grassroots belief in many circles,

and the highest religious and civil government authorities have been promoting it a long long time.

I was listening to some short wave radio and I stumbled upon a preacher preaching against saying "Merry Christmas" because you are actually saying "Mary Christmas" and promoting Roman Catholicism

:24:

That's in about the same league as being told you're not saved because you have not spoken in "tongues." (That has happened to me many, many times.)

I hestitate to say, for what is weird or temporarily errant thinking is often just the enthusiastic learning in progress by a saint in Christ Jesus. To make fun of or  to jump on such things from a perspective of feeling superior to the presenter of  an oddity seems to me an error in of itself.

Seems to me to be far better to politely hear and then  go on from there in a discussion of our Lord Jesus.  Some very fine educated pastors and teachers have held positions and thoughts that later seem absurd to even them. To their credit they are  seeking understanding from God about the things  of importance  to all of us.

That said, I will none the less offer my concern about the errant thinking called replacement theology. It is my candidate as perhaps the most serious error  being sold to us from many now consumed in this error at seminaries and whole church denominations.

I do not consider this to be  a mistake of an individual  in the process of learning, but instead to be a serious falsehood by those that  are  suffering  strong delusion.

How about that there's nothing evil about Lucifer (even though God clearly says evil was found in him). It goes on with Lucifer was just a poor misunderstood angel who God picked on and changed his name to Satan to give him a bad reputation. We should feel sorry for him and invite him in to dine with us. It went on but I stopped reading at that point bc I was getting angry. Too much angry.
