It seems certain people feel they are outcast because the hold views that are not positive towards President Trump, and that they feel if they express these views that they get "piled on". I haven't read the political forum in a long time as I got very angry and hurt at one time and even exiled myself from Worthy as a whole for a few days because of disagreements about politics, which lead me to lash out at long time friends, during the last election cycle. This experience has taught me something though. Although we disagree on politics we still agree on Christ, that is the basis of our friendship. Friendships based on political ideology are not solid, as politics is a shifting thing sometimes, positions change and ideologies shift. Christ on the other hand is a firm and unshakable basis for friendship. It is a real shame that people feel ganged up on here, I am however, also mindful that some people do not thing they are being a tad heavy handed in their replies, as this is a solely text based form of communication, where you can't read tone of voice or body language. I'm not saying that to justify being harsh to them, but it is the truth neither side is guilt free and both could learn to be nice.

So it is best for me to avoid the political cable news channels all together, and just enjoy el Beisbol.

Here lately I have been asking myself before I post a story in the political forums, "what is my reason for posting this?" If my reason is just to tick off Trump supporters, then I shouldn't post it. Which maybe why I have not posted any new topics. I think the posters that post in the political forums are people who have strong, passionate opinions. The Trump people seem to think that Trump is the best thing to happen to American. While The anti-Trump people think that Trump will cause American to crash and burn. There seems to be no middle ground. You either love Trump or you don't. And those that do can't understand those that don't and those that don't cant understand those that do. And I wont be surprise if this topic turns into a fiery debate as well. Edited April 3, 2017 by LadyKay
