The Bible seems pretty clear to me Bob, that Jesus returns and then reigns on Earth for 1000 years. Satan is bound during this 1000 years and is not released until the end.

So, what do we have going on now? Yes, Jesus won back the right to rule planet Earth at Calvary, but he hasn't claimed that right yet. Currently, he is ruling from within (spiritual) ; and when he returns, his rule will be total (add the physical part).  Satan is still prowling around looking for someone to devour. He is still the Prince of the air because Jesus has not comeback yet to claim what is now rightfully his.

Jesus Christ has always been and is present even though we cannot see Him [John 1:1-14]

He is always present and has been since the beginning .... He lives in eternity

When the time is right He will intervene again and this time He will immortalize all of His own and then bring judgment upon the balance

Some will turn and be saved during this judgment period of the 70th week decreed for Israel, but most will not

Firstly, it's not one thousand years, this phrase is actually mentioned six times, and six times one thousand makes six thousand years, not one thousand.

So where is the rule that we can add time together like that.

Is the one half of the one 'seven' mentioned five times in the book of Revelation between chapters 11 and 13 to be added together too?

Now as to Jesus' Kingship.
No one is denying that Jesus is the Messiah King who will reign on the earth.
However, please tell me how He could be ruling with an iron rod when atheism is on the advance and the fastest growing religion is satanically-inspired Islam?

Or can't say that in jolly old England...

Many people in our world deny Christ and that also means they deny Him as King. It is not going to get better but worse.

Bob, no one is denying that Jesus is presently a King.   What is being said, at least for my part, is that Jesus is not currently operating in the office of "King."   Jesus is currently operating in the office of "Great High Priest."    Jesus doesn't operate in the offices of prophet, priest and king all at the same time.

Jesus is King, no doubt.   But His actual reign in the office of  King/Messiah is still future.

1Ti 6:15 which He will manifest in His own time, He who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords,  1Ti 6:16 who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see, to whom be honor and everlasting power. Amen.

Yes I believe Jesus Christ reigns now in heaven as well as in His believers on earth.  He also said that the Kingdom of God is within us.  And I believe He shall reign on earth as well.

Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he shall reign forever and ever.” And the twenty-four elders who sit on their thrones before God fell on their faces and worshiped God, saying,“We give thanks to you, Lord God Almighty, who is and who was,for you have taken your great powerand begun to reign. - Revelation 11:15-17 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Revelation11:15-17&version=NIV

Hi Spock,

So friend, where do you see in God`s word that Jesus will reign on the earth, physically?
