Yes! When I was a child it was journalism and independent unbiased reporting. Now it's a, choose your partisan network, programming agenda. That's why I like that poster I shared about the MSM 6 corporations. The spiral in the middle of the TV screen indicating hypnotizing of the viewer public. Hey, why do we think they call it programming? 
It's the best way to manipulate the psyche of a large population area of mentally susceptible viewers. They believe what they see. I knew a woman who sat her children in front of the TV to watch children's shows as soon as their little body muscles would allow them to sit upright independently. Before that when she carried them as babies around the house, children's programming was the audio effect playing in the background.

In a nutshell, the audit results were issued months before Trump took office and contained, a disclaimer by the auditors that HUD was not able to produced final consolidated financial statements for the years under audit.  Subsequent to the original report, HUD provided those statements but the the overall audit findings still stood so they simply reissued the report in March 2017 with that disclaimer removed.  The audit findings had nothing to do with Ben Carson - who is not even making the claim put forth here.

The audit results are real, they just were not findings under Dr. Carson's watch.  The reason the findings are much larger than their annual budget is because the findings relate to assets not operational financial statements.  HUD's assets are far larger than it's annual operation budget in the same way that often a person's home and other assets are worth far more than what their annual household budget is.

True, and according to snopes, the same $5000 might be counted multiple times due to the aggregates. That is the only way you can get a $500B miscalculation on a $32B/year budget.

actually, it supports Snopes claims. Snopes claims the audit was in place before Carson took place, which is true, the vote to confirm Carson in as the secretary of HUD was what, february 28th? while according to the article you just posted, they seem to be finalizing the audit in february, with comments from people involved after it was done as late as march first. Theres no way Carson could order an Audit, until he was given the position, and it is a well known fact HUD has performed audits since 1990. 

now, it may very well be that the people doing the audits, and/or the people working for HUD, decided it was finally ok to own up to the mistakes and start being honest, with the change in power, out of fear of what Carson may do when he found out, but the fact still remains that the audit was started before Carson officially took office, and it was ordered by the Inspector General, not by Carson himself. As per the article you just posted.

I don't get this fighting over the numbers in an audit over a government dept. The government has been around far longer than anyone of us and that includes President Trump. Now, suddenly when a finding that the government was squandering money was completed  after President Trump took office, then it should be discarded. I'm sorry, but this is way off the charts here.

No, it should not be "discarded" the government squandering money is a large part of why we are so far in debt. The spending needs to be reigned in.
