In 2 peter 1:14 it says the person talking well have their body "removed".And in verse 13 it says they live "in' their body.I am confused.

2 cor 5:6-8 makes it even more confusing:(

Is this talking about the human soul or something else?I am not sure.

This is the same question you asked here:

2 Corinthians 5:6-8 is the same idea.  When we die, we go to be with the Lord.

So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord.  For we walk by faith, not by sight.  We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.

What part is confusing?

Thanks.I had forgot about my other post. What confuses me is the person in both posts never say the word spirit or soul when talking about their bodies.:(

That is because our spirits live forever and it is our flesh that dies.  Have you ever considered what is in control of you flesh?  I see the spirit is in control, using the brain as the control panel and the body are the machine.  When the machine and control panel cease to function (dies), all that is left is our spirit.

That is not what I meant.I mean when both people in my first post talk about themselves they don't say the word spirit or soul.To talk about the inner them.

What do you think goes to be with Christ when they die?

We have scripture to confirm that.  Why are you unsure?  Yet, we will never 100% know until we do die as we do see through a glass darkly, meaning we know only part of the truth, what He gives us..
