Yes, I'm familiar with the Prodigal son story. The Prodigal story isn't about the prodigal. But quite frankly I'm not about being called bro, and I'm not about word games. Speak plain or please move on . Thank you brother.

Attempting defame a man who isn't here to defend himself isn't going to change those facts.

But defaming a faith tradition is okay?

I didn't defame a faith tradition.   I upheld what the Bible says about how a person is saved from sin.

How can you tell?  Many of the 'baptizing' passage can go either way.

That's true but they were sent to preach the gospel and to baptize in water. Like in acts they baptize in water. The preaching of the gospel and baptizing go together.  Back then it happen right away as soon as someone believes and trust in christ they were baptize in water.

baptizing with water doesn't "save" anyone but receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit does.

You are actually forgiven before you received the Holy Spirit otherwise you could not receive the Holy Spirit. Baptism with water is part of being in Union with christ. It's our faith that counts. The water apart from faith means nothing. But being in faith baptism unite us with christ in the community of believers.

My pt being if you don't receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit you are not saved.  You have to be born again.

What is the baptism of the Holy Spirit for you. What does it look like, what does one do to be baptized in the Holy Spirit?

I would add to that righteous observation that all that carries the name of Christianity today is being targeted and assailed by a handful of that which is represented within that condemning statement. Enemies of the faith calling others wolves while howling against the church repeatedly and permissibly.
