Is there anything, anything at all, you will not argue about?

And you argue as much as I or anyone else.  Thanks for your non-response.

Let's not continue with the hijack.  Please get back to the topic of the OP.  Godwin's Law is a topic for another thread.

I am evoking Godwins Law, this thread is now dead.   That is one of the faster Hitler evokings I have seen in some time!

Rewind a few months ago and everything out of Trumps mouth was labeled Hitler. Your just railing. Being a super power or thee super power has it's benefits and down falls and responsibilities. At some point we will not be anymore just like Britain. Wasn't long ago the sun never set on that empire. The only way for us to down size is to make sure as best we can nut cases don't have mega powerful weapons. You got a better Idea, run for office.

We are the biggest, baddest country on the block with the biggest, baddest military, nobody can make us do anything, thus we are responsible for our own actions.   There is nobody to blame for our actions but ourselves.

Or our inaction's. We abruptly entered world war II because we underestimated a small country. Russia found out the same thing 40 years earlier in the Battle of Port Arthor

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Port_Arthur

I really don't get this idea of putting forth this mental imagery of our might as some sort of a excuse to hide the fact that some people are afraid to us it as it might just bring us into a conflict. I would rather, if a conflict is to occur to have one on our time time, when the opponent is not ready, instead of the other way around.

The policy of the United States should be to protect the U.S. and if we see a threat, which has developed over decades, where everything we have tried has failed miserably, then I think we should have the courage to try something else. Especially when it comes to a country that has nukes and is actively searching for a way to land one on our soil.

I wonder if anyone wanting the conflict to happen "on our time" is raising their hand and signing on the line to go be a part of the conflict.   It is easy to have bravado when you are not, and will never be, in the line of fire.

You see right in your statement, who wants the conflict to happen? it's the cry of "war monger". Exactly the very thing I addressed in my first post that you spent no time trying to understand.
