(Worthy News) - U.S. President Donald Trump said on Thursday a major conflict with North Korea is possible in the standoff over its nuclear and missile programs, but he would prefer a diplomatic outcome to the dispute.

"There is a chance that we could end up having a major, major conflict with North Korea. Absolutely," Trump told Reuters in an Oval Office interview ahead of his 100th day in office on Saturday.

Nonetheless, Trump said he wanted to peacefully resolve a crisis that has bedeviled multiple U.S. presidents, a path that he and his administration are emphasizing by preparing a variety of new economic sanctions while not taking the military option off the table. [ Source ]

I think the world would prefer a diplomatic pursuit of this issue. I think the question is, while president Trump is willing to show diplomacy, is Kim Jong-un's actions as leader of Korea an example of a man who is capable of reciprocating?

You mean crazy like a fox? He has to have some kind of issues going on to kill family members because they make him angry. That is not the way the average person takes on their anger.

They live in a different world than us.  Soccer players have been killed for losing a game.

Many parts of the world do not think like we do.  Besides how many political opponents had Putin had killed and yet he is never seen as a madman

Good point.

I just happened to be stationed in Arkansas when Bill was Governor . . . White Water was a real mess in more ways than one.

MM, if you look back in history, this is exactly how ruling families operated - it's just not so plain to detect these days.

I mean, conspiracy theories or not, Princess Diana's death raised (and still does) raise eyebrows.
