What would you think of a policeman who had a serial killer in handcuffs and shackles and he uncuffed and unshackled him and let him run free, and he killed more people. Our Bible in the Christian faith tells us that all things are predetermined to transpire according to God's will and his plan for all that is his creation. God is Sovereign. Therefore, if God tolerates the actions of the Devil, as he did when he spoke with him before he gave his attentions to Job to challenge his faith commitment, it is because it is necessary to fulfill his plan. God cast the Devil down to earth where God planned to create people to live. But in Genesis 3 man chooses Satan as lord over God - man chooses to follow Satan instead of God.
