But I believed He loved all the disciples just as we love our children. They are all different and we have a slightly different relationship with each. Peter James and John were at the transfiguration. But Jesus left the care of his mother to John.

John must of repented so well then blossomed so well to do what willa mentioned

Jesus entrusted John with the care of His mother, gave him the vision of transfiguration, allowed John to witness His most amazing miracles and later gave him the book of Revelation. Jesus blessed John.

Maybe John was the first person to become a Believer, that would issue in the Agape love for him from Jesus. That would not mean that Jesus loved John more than others, just a different kind of love. Probably the same kind of love that He had that held Him to the Cross for us.
