To be very honest, its so close to the end now, we mainly only need the Word of Knowledge, there isn't much left for God to Prophecy through men about, there are some exceptions....some think the Trump presidency was foretold, it does happen, but my point is, I think God uses the Word of Knowledge more today, whereas 2000 years ago He might have used Prophecy mush more than today. And it must be weighed by the standard of authority already shown in the completed word of God. God's word (the whole bible) is the authority of the church. ( the body of Christ) It is the final say in what we believe and how we should live. Since the canon is closed, no new revelations will transpire.
