By banging on the shower head bolt like I was told to do and trying to get that stupid thing off I bent it. Now the shower head does not point in the middle of the shower like it did before. Guest Posted May 9, 2017 Share Posted May 9, 2017 Get a wrench and tighten it on that area where you unscrew it as tight as you can get it. You will have to push up or down to get it to budge. I would try and get a small bottle of olive oil and try to oil that hinge, then wipe the excess off. You're gonna have to use as much muscle as you can. It's possible both the socket and thread rusted together. I'd also get a hammer and try to knock that rust out or budge the shower head. It's very hard to do with your hands, that's why I suggest getting a tight solid wrench on that thing and push hard.
