I'm with Tucker; when Al Gore and Leonardo DiCapprio start eating this way, I will at least look at it.  Oh wait, these morons think that the lower classes should do this, right?

So here's my question - especially directed to those who think the Bible is not relevant for today:

Was John the Baptist the first 'climate change activist?'?

Quote

John’s clothes were made of camel’s hair, and he had a leather belt around his waist. His food was locusts and wild honey.

~Matthew 3:4

Blessings,

-Ed

I hadn't thought of that; good observation, Ed.

He came to make way the path of the Lord, Jesus. He did not come to show man they need to eat bugs to save the earth. Saving the climate has never been the goal of the plan of salvation.

True; we are just to exercise dominion over the Earth.  I don't think God ever told us to eat bugs.

From the article:

Climate change activists say humans should start eating insects as a way to eventually cut the world's meat consumption by 50 percent. Doing that, activists argue, would greatly reduce greenhouse gas emissions by livestock.

Okay, so if livestock are emitting green house gasses, assuming that is true, how does eating bugs solve that problem?   The article doesn't really explain how that works, as far as I can tell.

If we eat less greenhouse gas emitting livestock by 50% their population will only increase along with their emissions of greenhouse gasses.   So, this really makes no sense.  But they are Liberals, so....

Wow, you nailed that one to the wall, Shiloh.  What a bunch of dolts.  And I still doubt very much that the climate change elites meant THEY should be eating bugs....just the serfs.  :P

I've been to places where the bugs seemed big enough to carry the burger off before you could eat it . . .  The military was always good for sending us somewhere at exactly the wrong time of year, like Alaska in January. :)
