(Worthy News) - US President Donald Trump will urge unity between the world’s major faiths on an ambitious first foreign trip that will take him to Saudi Arabia, the Vatican and Jerusalem, the White House said Tuesday.

National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster laid out a detailed itinerary for the “historic trip,” due to start late this week, and confirmed that Trump would address a gathering of Muslim leaders on his “hopes for a peaceful vision of Islam.”

“He will meet and have lunch with leaders of more than 50 Muslim countries, where he will deliver an inspiring, direct speech on the need to confront radical ideology and the president’s hopes for a peaceful vision of Islam,” McMaster said. [ Source ]

I think that this is a good first foreign trip for Trump to make.

It shows that he's aware of a huge problem in the world that America can and

should take a hand in. He's going to see the major players in this venture.

Good Move!!

That is kinda funny when you consider most of the 9/11 terrorists were from Saudi Arabia.

Knowing what I know about Islam in general, I don't consider it the least bit funny......    but we do need their help with ISIS so I'll be behind the president and hope he gets them involved to fix ISIS.

Actually if they would stay over there I would not have a problem with them.

Does that mean the Saudi government sent them forth?

What better place for our President to start in cultivating a peace between such Islamists and the rest of the world. America in particular.

He did what he had to do and based on the scowl's on their faces his message was received loud and clear, give him props for his message being on point.

the saudi government did not send them.  However because osama used them it was a statement to the saudi government ... your citizens will stand with me.  It was a silent statement.

I do not presume to know the mind of the dead. I instead recall those who's lives were cut short by the one's who killed and died because a cult taught them anti-American terrorism's reward was eternal life.

Yes I agree.  He's got very little to work with. He was encouraging them to kick out the terrorists from their Mosques & not give them a safe haven let's unite against the violence. He was not bowing and groveling like Obama did.

Someone needs to tell Trump there is no such thing as a peaceful Muslim

There might be a handful of peaceful Muslims. Not all are terrorists.
