On Donald Trump's visits this week - he visits Muslim leaders, Israeli leaders, and "the Pope".

Who is the best person to represent "All Christians" in the world? -- the Pope?

What is your POV?

Meeting with the Pope:

Pope wears white - you must wear black. If meeting him at the Vatican.

If he meets you on your soil - you have a bit more freedom?

You gotta remember one thing though. Trump is not a Christian so you cant necessarily expect him to know any better

We have to remember that we have a secular government and that the President represents all Americans, of all religions. With that in mind, it is each of us, individually, who should represent all true Christians. It is not logical to expect any modern-day American President to "represent" all Christians since there are so many different "Christian" denominations with different systems.

I don't think you have the knowledge to decide that....      What power do you have to declare that?   From what I hear he has not been a christian very long, but you really shouldn't say he's not a christian.   We're not supposed to do that here as I understand it.

That is untrue! False witness and against a brother in Christ is a shame that should be repented of for even being thought .

When a political leader still caters to the pope... I agree, they are not fully committed to Christ... fruits...

Matthew 3:8-10
8 Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:
9 And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to [our] father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.
10 And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

Don't you find it odd that this thread is titled , Trump meets with Muslims, Jews, Pope, who represents all Christians.

And what is featured is a video of then President Obama meeting with Francis.

Not President Trump!

It is called diplomacy. It is requisite that a leader of the free world, our President, show respect for the leader of a nation who visits our soil by invitation. And Pope Francis, every Pope, is the leader of the RCC but most importantly as pertains to nations, Vatican City! Which is a sovereign nation.

This is the appropriate article to accompany the header of this thread don't you think? The Obama's are irrelevant today.

And President Trump snubbing a leader of a nation whom he's meeting with in the name of brokering peace in the middle east would be violating God's tenets and his office. Trump has already been accused of not being a Christian by someone here. Jesus Christ and God almighty represent the people of Christ. And a President dedicated to Christ is an emissary of God's will being he was seated by God's will as leader of the free world. Should he vacate Christian charity now because someone thinks ill of a mere man who heads one church? Did Jesus meet with those whom his apostles chastised him for? Yes. Is Donald Trump to behave in a manner less than that example set forth by Jesus?
