Maybe someone should write Mr. Trump and ask him to find someone to meet with that represents non-Catholic Christians. They just lump us altogether because they don't know any better I guess.

Well he did do that, LK.  He met with evangelicals at Liberty University, the Black Pastors Assoc. and with Franklin Graham.  Oh and Robert Jeffris.

Jesus Christ is the only representative of all true Christians... not any religious or political leader.

Oh, it certainly does.  Trump is the current 'ruler'.

Does Donald Trump "rule" the United States, or as POTUS is he the head of its executive branch of gov't?

I agree; we can disagree without making it hateful or personal.

Absolutely.
What can cause people to arrive at a judgment someone hates that one whom they're speaking of is in how they speak of them. And lack of respect isn't an example of liking someone. Promoting gossip, falsehoods, isn't respect. And it isn't evidence of liking someone either.

Some people think hate is a strong word and they are opposed to its use. But when disrespect and promotion of gossip about someone, falsehoods, in order to fracture someones credibility in their job, or their image, occurs is that an example of like and respect? Maybe if someone doesn't like a behavior to be judged as hate that individual actor should maybe not act hatefully. Or disrespectfully, or unkindly toward another by promoting falsehoods and gossip.

Just a thought.

Using 'ruler' in the Biblical sense; of course hes the head of the Executive branch but they didn't have those back then.  God just told us not to curse our rulers. We have to equate that with what we have today.  Your question is rhetorical, OS2.

Is the command in the Titus scripture made void if he's not a "ruler"?

Titus 3:1-2 Remind them to be submissive to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good work, to speak evil of no one, to avoid quarreling, to be gentle, and to show perfect courtesy toward all people.

Romans 13:1 Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God.

"For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5).

That being said Christ lives in all Christians (Colossians 1:27, 1 Corinthians 3:16, John 17:20-23) and we are ambassadors (2 Corinthians 5:11-21). So any Christian potentially could represent Christians, long as they are Biblical Christians.

Christ is the head of the body, all glory will be giving to Him. He represent Himself through us if we're willing to allow Him to to do so.
