I have its daddy (Sig 1911 full size Carry edition), don't you think I owe it to myself to get its child?  I don't want to break up a family.

I agree for the most part.  I do know a couple of people that would make me nervous to be around if they were armed though.

I'd be even more nervous if I wasn't armed.

Well of course.  You can't take a child away from it's family.

I don't want to get off topic but did you know if you are law enforcement or EMS you can get Glocks at a discount price through blue dot (I think) Program.  You get like 20% off.  I am not totally sold on the glocks.  My cousin has 3 or 4 and really likes them.

I don't personally carry. I guess the area that I am in I don't see the need.  The one thing I have thought about though is why concealed carry?  I think open carry would be more effective.  I think the site of somebody seeing my taurus 357 on my hip would be a pretty good deterrent before a problem even arose.

I recently bought a sig 9mm. I would like to get some night sights on it.

Where I live, I feel better if I'm armed.  I do have one .357, a Smith & Wesson 686.  I love the gun but wouldn't want to Open-Carry it.  I'd rather people wonder, is he or is he not!  Sig makes great guns.  I initially didn't like them because of their grips.  When I replaced those grips with Hogue grips, I started on a secondary obsession with P-series Sigs.

I don't remember exactly what series my sig is.  I think it's a 238.  I really like how it feels and shoots.

A Glock 22 (.40 S&W) was my first gun and I've been sold on them ever since.  The Glock 43 (9 mm) I bought was a bargain.  It looked like it had never been fired, still had the copper lube on it that the factory uses.  It was $30 cheaper than a new Glock 42 (.380 ACP).  Even with that I still drooled over that Sig S/S Commander.

If its small and looks sort of like a Colt Mustang, its the P238.  I have one but haven't shot it yet.  I've read great things about the gun though.  Or it could be a 9 mm P938.  I haven't fired one though and don't know that much about them except they look like the P238.

I think it's a different model then.  It's a bit bigger.
