Not odd at all, considering that there are thousands of buried reports concerning autism, its causes and prevention and cures , many before 1950, and many more after that, just like for other problems. When the drug reps were asked why they (the know, proven, preventions or cures) weren't being made available, they said all the time , practically, "it can't be patented"; (we want the money); i.e. without any concern at all how well it worked.....
